replacing a belt on a bell howell lx30 projector?

I need to know how to get the belt off the rods? they are on to replace it. I can't see any opening or way to get it off. That's all I hv left to do & the manuel doesn't tell you either. It was our parents & they don't remember ??? help

I have an Lx 30 Bell and Howell Super 8/Regular 8 projector. It ran the film thru, but wouldn't rewind it. It was my younger brother at summer camp and very fun to watch, but I won't see many movies if I have to manually rewind. Any suggestions? Manual?
