Our Lamona range cooker fan oven and clock are not working, why?

We have a Lamona Range cooker, model HJA5100. The clock has packed up and so has the fan assisted oven, the conventional oven and the gas hobs all work still. Could this be a fuse issue and if so, where is the fuse?

You need to change the thermal fuse which is screwed to the main body of the oven.
Turn of the power source or knock down the circuit breaker on your fuse board first.
Remove the back panel to right hand side, the thermal fuse is on the right hand side of the body,it's round size of 5p easily removed.
You need to order the new one on line, you need to match it up.
Then reinstall.

How do I change the element in my fan oven? can I get to it via the oven or do I need to pull it away from the wall and undo the back panel?

Same thing has happened to our HJA 5100. I'm curious about the fuse that has been mentioned on an earlier post. The cooker should be installed on a 30amp fuse and hard-wired in not with a 3 pin 13 amp fused plug! Is there a separate power source that runs the clock?

Your oven should be connected to the mains supply through a 13 Amp 3-pin plug. This is probably plugged in under the worktop, inside an adjacent cupboard. Switch off the socket. Pull out the plug, remove the cover and take out the cartridge fuse. Replace it with a new fuse, check that all 3 wires are secure and intact (not burnt), and re-insert the plug. Switch the socket back on, and try the oven.
If you still have no joy, call a repair engineer.

I too have the same problem and the same HJA100 - and I'm buggered if I'm going to pay £150 to have it fixed - it's only 18 months old. Do you access the fuse from the back or by taking the top panel off?

Yes, it was the fuse.
