Baumatic Mega 6SS - Noisey Banging on Spin?

Hello,

I have a Baumatic Mega6 SS bought in about 2004. Today it has started to make a very loud big deal out of doing a spin cycle! Also just 2 days after my dishwasher went capput - not a happy bunny.

I am loathed to just replace it, as we are moving soon (into rented) so could anyone offer me advice on how to fix it with the following symptoms?

Loud banging noise on spin cycle
No previous issues (except the door bolts falling off from the previous spin vibrations)

Any help gratefully appreciated.

on the back of the inner drum is a 3 legged alloy fitting with a spindle that goes thru the back of the drum and has a large pulley on it, it has broken, i have just changed one on my sisters similar machine, about £35 for the parts but a total stripdown of the machine
