fix ford 6000 rds cd/radio?

i have a ford 6000 rds cd/radio that wont even switch on, it came fitted to the car and worked perfectly, but it has given up the ghost for no apparent reason, has anybody had the same problem and if so how did you resolve the issue.

I've got the same problem radio worked fine then switched off automatically - now it will switch on for about 3 secs before switching off - can't get it to stay on now - any ideas?

check both the main circuit fuse and also there may be a fuse on the back of the stereo itself. Have a look there.
