focus diesel engine cut out will not restart?

very unlikely if the engine was at normal operating temperature before it stopped, there to help start a cold engine and don't even energise on modern common rail diesels untill the ambiant temperature drops to freezing and below, unless there has been major mechanical failure eg cam belt or injection pump failure then check the stop solanoid and it's wiring
