control panel beeping intermittently?

thanks for that info accorn. i will check that out because the smoke alarm is positioned very close to the control panel .

Been in this business more years than I care to remember & can honestly say I've never come across an alarm control panel that does what you are describing, but, I've been dragged out by many customers who have insisted that they are right & I don't know what I'm talking about

.. only to prove that it is the battery in their smoke detector and present them with a huge bill, even more on a Bank Holiday (I always got the money)
