Zig zag stitch on Toyota Sewing Machine -2700 Model, EC1 Series?

My friend loaned me her toyota sewing machine (2700 Model, EC1 Series) and I can't figure out how to use the other stitches (primarily the zigzag). Is there something simple I'm missing? Also, I'm not sure if I need cams for all other stitches?
