We need to change our battery as when our power goes off the alarm goes off continually. We have a new battery and assume it is just a matter of turning the power off, disconnecting the old battery and replacing with the new. Is this correct?
As long as your user code is allowed to reset after a tamper then your assumption is correct. Remember there is mains volatage present in the panel. This can be very dangerous. If you feel competent enough. Then do as you suggest.
