singer 9005 model, needle movement?

took machine to repair shop. mechanism inside. not broken, needs adjusting of some sort. Thanks for input.

Hello Essence,
Have you made sure the stop motion wheel is tight ?
Can you hear a buzzing from the motor when you put your foot on the foot control ?
If you can hear a buzzing the chances are there is thread still stuck round the raceway, yopu need to take the bobbin case out and have a good look, with the bobbin case out the machine should move, if it does not and the motor is buzzing then you have a problem.
