Mend Pacific Cistern Flush Repair

How can I mend the push button flush on my Pacific toilet cistern?

I removed the lid of the toilet and the plunger that opertates the cistern flush dropped out, along with the spring. I have the plunger and the spring, but there seems to be a part missing as the plunger doesn't connect to the cyphon. Do I need a whole new cyphon system or can I get a new missing part?
