just done my head gasket used a locking tool everything lined up ok put belt on turned over by hand no valves were hit started it up sound like a v8 its loud like no exuste and wont rev much past 3000 rpm can someone help please!!!!
you need to re check marks are where they should be and belt is right tension. you might be lucky and get away with putting timing back where it should be or it might have bent some valves. you dont say what car or engine it is so i cant help any further yet.
