Teac colour tv, model CT-M6828S, not working properly?

My Teac colour tv, model CT-M6828S,is playing up. When you turn it on it makes a loud clicking noise which seems to be coming from the circut board at the base of the set below the tube, also the sound drops out, if anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I should also point out that the solenoid unit rocks from the back to the front so placing the plastic at the back of the solenoid unit holds the contacts together. I used a piece of cable tie about 5mm wide to do the job. These cable ties are about 2mm thick. I jammed it in until the solenoid stopped clicking, tested to see whether I could actually switch the TV on (press the on/off button on the front of the unit until both red LEDs come on) and as Steve advised the TV works fine. You just cannot turn it off and on using the remote.

Im the one who asked the question but I worked out the prob, so this is for anyone refering to this for a similar prob. What it was was a fauty RC solinoid for the standby mode, It kept flicking on and of repeatedly, so quick that the picture didn't dop out but it did interfier with the sound and picture quality (and made a very anoyin clik clik noise) I recomend removing and replacing the solinoid unit which is located on the secondary circut board at the back behind the main board to the left viewing it from behind. What I did was remove the solinoid, pry open the case from the top and inserted a small piece of NON CONDUCTIVE plastic to fix the switch to ON ie coper to coper, that way you can no longer switch the set on/off with the remote but every thing else works fine eg vol, picture mode, chanell select, ect.
