Mend Homelite Super XL Chainsaw Automatic Chain

Can you answer?

I have a homelite super xl chainsaw and the automatic chain oiler as well as the manual pushbutton pump will not oil the chain. There appears to be a blockage. I have removed the filter in the well behind the filler plug and it is not plugged. Any ideas?
