Wow Jimmy, im curious what is a signal connection on a PIR, I think you mean the N/C connection. Poor public reading it, So what are you gonna say if its a Grade 2 system, or havent they taught you that in Alarm school yet.

most alarm systems are compatable with pir sensors .it is the internal connections for the pir that have to be adhered to when connecting to the main panel.ie the dc voltage cnnection,anti-tamper connection,the signal cnnetion for the pir sensor.
