aprillia rx50?

iv sorted the bike out noe i took the carb back of and stripped it and found i small pipe blocked that leads ito the side casing of the engine it now starts first kick and runs fine

im gonna get a years mot on it then it will be up for sale if anyones intrested its a aprilia rx50 x reg 2001 2700 miles

hi adam the bike was reving with the throttle as it should but it just seemed like as soon as the fuel burnt out in the bore the bike died so i put more fuel in the bore and it started again and done the same

the reed valve wouldnt allow a bike to rev if they were leaking so its not that,when you say it revved up was it you revving it up by opening the throttle or did it just rev up after you put fuel into the plug hole?

yeh iv took the carb apart its all clean could it be anything to do with the reeds not letting the fuel through i just aint got a clue what else it could be

have you took the jets out of the carb to see if they are blocked. you should be able to see through them.
