Wont power up?

I have got the same problem. Aparently, the battery is dead. This usually happens when its not in use for months or years. What you need to do is plug it to the wall circuit and keep it charging. Do not switch it on. Just keep it plugged. This may take weeks or even months before the camcorder turns back on. I did this once and it worked. However, I failed to use it regularly again and it won't power on. But you should give it a try.
