how to put a code in?

My husband could not turn my radio down, so as men do pushed every button , saw the word code then 0000,and pressed a few more buttons,and hey presto no radio. I have the codes, but can't get rid of wait 1 hour. Help

leave turned on untouched until it resets itself.
don't touch any button cause if you do the wait time starts from the begining
