Thanks for that - I was expecting the unit to kick into tamper/siren mode as soon as the panel was opened. So from what you say It sounds like opening it demands the alarm code to be input and once closed and reset button pushed, it is then subdued and can be left open?

Also am I right in saying once all closed up, the unit will return to normal usage by entering code for exit as usual?
