Optima XL6: When mains power goes off the alarms sound but no power to panel so cant enter code to switch off alarm. Is there a back up battery in the panel which could be dead and if so how is it changed and are there any tamper devises that have to be overcome?
What is the spec. for a replacement battery?
7AH battery.
Lid tamper on panel.
Open alarm panel, be careful there is electricity and it kills. You have been warned. Swap battery close lid put in code all fixed.
