hoover hed6612-80 all 4 lights flashing then leaks?

Had exactly the same problem.
The lights were caused by the flood sensor activating in the base of the machine.
This in turn was because there was a leak that filled the base with water.
In my case the leak was in the pipe where it goes up the back of the maching and into the spinning arm - broken off at the thread at the top.
Replaced pipe and jubilee clip at base and now works fine.

I was unlucky and had to take off a side panel to look for the leak.
It turned out to be a disconnected hose which took 5 mins to fix with a new jubilee clip.
The time consuming bit is removing and replacing the side panel.

I have the exact same problem! Any help would be really appriciated. I have lost the user manual, if anyone has this manual would you look this issue up?
