Hoover Whisper 'super silent' dishwasher wont work?

Hi im not getting anything when I switch it on, have checked fuse and plug they are ok, but no power thu the machine I did have it fixed with the same problem a long time ago, and it seemed to be a little box under the machine with wires going to it, but why has it malfunctioned so quick, its not a year since I got it done, any help please
