The remote has suddenly stopped working, its not the batteries as the remote works on my other freeview box. Also the red remote light does not come on. Can you help?

I also am having the same problem. Tried switching power on and off, box works for a few minutes then freezes again. I bought mine in September 2009 from Argos but have lost all the paperwork! Would be great to know how, or even if, I could fix this myself...

Where did you purchase your BTU250DTR? and how long ago?
I purchased mine in June 2010 on line and the supplier, PVR Empire, has disappeared so I'm having difficulty
tracing them to obtain a replacement.
I'll be interested to haer if there is any way I can rectify myself!
