the antipollution warning light is on. What might this mean?

if you do a lot of town driving this can lead to unburnt carbon deposits in the exhaust system,give the motor a good run up the motorway with high revs to get the exhaust really hot to burn off these deposits in the exhaust system

the exhaust fumes run through a catalytic converter to take out pollution to the air also a lambda sensor to control fuel flow.the e.c.u will go on limp home mode,ie loss of full power, it needs code reading by diagnostic to find the fault ,then it needs repairing, replacement p.s dont 4 get 2 check pollen filter tho
