electric folding mirrors on C4 Grand Picasso don't unfold?

Normally the electric wing mirrors open automatically when the car is unlocked, but for the past 3 days they have not (it was -2 degrees when this first happened though had had no problems previously at -11, The temperature has not risen much above 1 degree since). 07 reg citroen grand c4 picasso.
