how do I fix my Pfaff Creative 1471??

The threaded needle wont pick up the bobbin thread at all. It's like the needle doesn't go down far enough or the bobbin isn't sitting right inside the casing. But the bobbin did snap in.

Sounds like the timing needs adjusting, on that model a shop repair is best.
