How do I get webcam on screen?

I turn the webcam on but but there is no visual screen of what the webcam is viewing? Its saying webcam on the little blue light by the cam viewer is on, I have been through the devices and everything else and cannot find any device on computer. I have a new Advent Modena M201 Red?
