Why does my Maytag leak water from the freezer?

I have a Maytag MSD2556AEW that leaks water from the freezer side approximately once every two weeks maybe more. It also freezes up on the bottom so that I can't use the bottom basket. Can someone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?
