How to reset Optima?

that will be the day,as the duke once said,us guys on here know nothing,we tell people time and time again,you cant test a battery with a test meter,it only tells you the voltage,believe us people,you need a special tester call a pac tester that puts a dummy load on battery,its expensive,but us pros use it all the time,so,if you are smarter than us,please give us the benifit of your advice,!and dont bother asking our advice,simple !because tell you what,acorn.alarm guy ,nick and i are sick of ans,the same questions time and time again,i will say it once,IF YOUR ALARM GOES OFF WHEN THE MAINS POWER FAILS,ITS THE BATTERY,GET IT?,IF YOU HAVE A 9800 THAT SAYS 6F,ITS THE BATTERY,AS THE GUYS KEEP SAYING CHECK OUT THE SEARCH BOX,

Totally agree with Alarm, common problem with the Optima,
One day just maybe people may believe us that you cannot test a battery with a multimeter.

And the battery was tested with what exactly?

Power it down mains and battery and reboot. See what happens. If it still locks up, you need a new battery.
