How can i fix my electric clutch on a Snapper 1855A?
My Snapper 1855A garden tractor's electric clutch quit working and i'm not able to use my mower deck, at least one more time this season. I don't know if i'll need it on the snowblower, but if i do, the time will be here soon.
Usually when electric clutches quit they need to be replaced. First with the key on and the engine OFF take the plug off of it and check to see if your getting 12 - 14 volts when you pull the switch that should engage the clutch. If your getting a voltage there the clutch is bad. And they ain't cheap, for lack of a more honest warning.
