Neff B1451 Oven - Grill element fallen?

I have a Neff B1451 oven. There is a ratchet which holds the grill element in place at the ceiling of the oven. This has fallen down and when I try to put the screw back in to hold it up, there appears to be nothing with a thread for the screw to go into.
How do I access the space above the oven to re-assemble the screw and the nut?
The ratchet is shown on page 19 of the user manual.
