In the meantime why not omit that zone!.you will still have coverage on the rest of the zones.

No more false alarming!!!

Its a really easy procedure ...Take a look at the user manual.

oh and by the way,that's the whole idea of having a quad zone pir..,so you can mount them high.But I wouldn't worry about it.

Thankyou for the fast responses.The sensor isn't near any radiators although its mounted a little low in comparison with the rest of the sensors.
I will be replacing the sensor shortly.Iam fed up with these false alarms.

Or the sensor maybe doing its job by detecting the movement of a heat source. amazing how many folks fit pirs over radiators and get confused when they false alarm.

Hi your quad zone pir is fitted with a eco chip.Its primary function is to control the temperature compensation circuit.

when this circuit fails the pirs subtle changes are not metered, so temperature change will activate the pir detection circuit.

You can replace the pir yourself, its a easy procedure.

You can purchase the same pir for around £15.00, I recommend you buy the exact replacement because you will not have any issues with the wiring.

There's a detailed wiring diagram on the back of the pirs.

I recommend you power the system down first,you don't want to short any wires out, when you change over the pirs.

Maybe worth considering replacing the panels battery if its over 5 years of age,since you are shutting down.
