Position of fuel pump in 1999 Citroen Xsara hdi?

Is the position of the fuel pump in a 1999 Citroen Xsara Estate the same as in a Xsara hatchback?

have a look at both pumps,the part no.is on the top of them,but that doesn`t mean they are different if the part no`s dont match,you could take your reg.no`s of both veh`s to a dealer and ask them nicely if they could confirm a suitable match

The position of the cap under the rear seat is different in my current Xsara than it was in my hatchback which is what I am unsure about, would this suggest the pump is different or is just positioned differently due to this being the estate model?

you should have a low pressure pump in tank,look under rear seats, and a high pressure pump on engine,if they are the same engine then should be the same
