my tv will not recieve a signal from my digi box?

if you can tune in normal terestrial channels then the tv is likely fine. check the cabling between the decoder and the tv.
to go further, you need to connect the freeview box via scart so you can see what you're doing, enter its menu and check the RF modulator is enabled. you may also be able to change the UHF output frequency.

Most Freeview boxes can't output the Freeview channels via RF they have to be connected via a SCART lead. (That may be why the other box failed.) As to your box if it used to work, try retuning the TV to the box.

it is for freeview and freeview has worked before on the tv in the past but thakyou

Is this for freeview if so have you checked that it is available in your area some areas will not be eligible for freeview until 2012.
