my bath leaks around the under tile seal, any suggestions?

Since the bath was installed 5 yrs ago (new house) i have had to raise the level of the bath atleast 2 cms. i have an under tile seal which is hard to seal . i have recently tried some self adhesive sael tape but this doesnt seem to work well, it just covers the problem and not fixes it. i would be greatful for any advice.

Just a point about sealing around baths.
One problem is that an empty bath will 'sit' higher than a full one with you in it. Obvious, I know, but that shift will tend to pull any seal apart. This only occurs with plastic baths, and not with cast iron ones.
Solution - Fill the bath, say, 1/2 - 2/3 full. Then perform your seal. Something flexible is likely to be best.
Only let the water out when you think the seal is set, plus a day!

prise the seal up a short length at a time and apply some bathroom sealant(mastic) under the seal. do this all the way along and when finished apply pressure at short intervals with some kind of weight( like a heavy bar) and allow to set before using again(preferably overnight)
