My turbo is just stop working the shaft on the turbo snapped my one is a 06 model 1.6hdi logbook code
ch9hxc. I took a turbo off a 09 model same code on the log book ch9hcx. i fitted the turbo check oil feed pipe started it up run fine turbo working. but engine managment light came on and says engine fault. is the turbo i fitted the wrong one even if the log book codes are the same. or does the computer need re setting to match the new turbo.
the car needs a code reader to cancel faults on computer as it will have them stored from when it failed.then if every thing is ok they will stay off if not it will tell you the faults which you will have to deal with.
