Mend Flymo CTXT25 Trimmer D Y

Trimmer repair D.I.Y?

Flymo CTXT25 model grass trimmer.
When plugging in my trimmer it started up without operating the switch in the handle.
I take it that the switch is broken! I can get a spare for this, online for £9.99 inclding post.
Can anyone advise me if this repair is ok for DIY?
