I was machining when the machine just stopped and now the fly wheel will not budge. It works in bobbin mode. I have cleaned dust and very small treads but still nothing.
could be couple off problems depending when last machine had proper service but you can start by looking for thread jamming hook drive and needle bar area .with carefull inspection while turning handwheel back and fro as far as it will go you can determine if problem is at main shaft or needle bar area.spray with good penetrating oil where ever you can see maybe you lucky to loosen it up
