Scantronic 9600 help needed pls?

hello all hope you can help me with my old 9600.

Yesterday morning the keypad was totally dead but walking around the house the sensors are detecting and lighting up so I think there's a problem with the main unit.
I was advised to change the battery in the main unit but it's still behaving the same,keypad totally dead.I would like to make certain that the alarm is bust before I replace it so a little help or a few pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I have a tester but don't know where or what needs testing,so a little guidance would be great. Many thanks .

Yep Alarms spot on here polyfuses on them follow his advice and the poly in question should reset :)

When you replaced the battery, did you power down the mains before replacing. This is important for this panel and I think it has self resetting fuses rather than replaceable IIRC.
So take off the battery then the mains and give it 30 seconds and then PUT THE BATTERY ON, then enter your code and then turn on the mains.
This should bring it all back up.
This panel is pretty hard to destroy.
