How to change images to JEF for the Janome200E?

We have formatted the USB memory stick it shows the EMBF file that shows on the computer, then what do we do to transferr the image to that file and have it be the JEF file. We have seen so many things but then it doesn't seem to work. Guess my husband and I don't know how to do this. Can I get a simple step by step info what we have to do to do this? Help I'm ready to throw this machine.
