Ebac 2850e not drawing moisture?

It sounds as though the fan works but the cooling/compressor unit is not kicking in (louder noise when it does).
If that's the case, it could be a faulty motor, or a faulty capacitor(condenser) or (unlikely) the refrigeration unit has become degassed.
Try looking up replacing a capacitor online - but be careful to discharge it properly and safely if you do. You can look that up too. DGH

is the water container seated properly, it is funny and needs to be seated well and the plastic door completely closed
