engin management light on vw golf mk5 tdis?

Washed my car at the local garage and decided to have my engine sprayed with water. Little did i know that soon as i got home, i switched the engine off and then re-started it (my engine management light come on). Does any one know what the course of this is an can anyone HELP PLZ.

Water will have got into the electrics. You'll have to let it dry out and the light should then go out. Should be OK by August..... Unless of course you have soaked the air filter. Then you'll need a new one.

Never spray the engine compartment with water. (But you've learnt that now, haven't you?)
