Seiko Quartz Chiming Wall Clock Ref QQX216B Cal.12104 ?

Can the times when the clock stops chiming in the evening and starts again in the moring be adjusted.
This is an older model with a slide for on off switch and a turn rod to set the time instead of the usual flat disc wheel. Also it has 2 buttons one for am and one for pm.
Everything works! We can adjust the volume and also select either Westminster or Whittington Chimes.
Received it as a gift 28 years ago and unfortunately when we moved the instructions were misplaced.
Thank you for whatever suggestions or help. It would be wonderful to hear the clock chime at 5 am and be quiet at 9 pm.

from an eBayer selling it: This is a Vintage Seiko Westminster Whittington Chiming Quartz Wall Clock QQX216B. It is 13" x 12" and is made out of wood. You can select between the two different chimes on the back. It shows some dings and scratches here and there in the wood, see photos. It also has a persons name on the back. It uses 2 C batteries not included. It chimes every 15 minutes once it gets going and chimes the number of the time on the hour. It still works fine. I say once it gets going. I could not find any instructions for this exact clock. I had to play with it for a while to get it set to chime the correct hour. Once I had it figured out, I removed the batteries. When I put them back in I had to start all over again. I think this goes to a 2:00 preset time and starts there. Sorry I do not have the instructions. It has a stop and start button on the back. This goes as is. This is what I did...1) Push the button in the back to set. 2) Set the clock at 2:00 and then put the batteries in. 3)Push the button in the back to Start. The clock needs to run for 90 minutes before the quarter hour chimes start working. If the hour does not match number of chimes, push the back button back to set and move the dial counter clockwise to the correct chime hour right after it chimes. Set the back button back to start. Yeah it's quite difficult to set without instructions. Maybe you can find the instructions on the internet. I believe some companies sell instructions for old clocks. I looked at Q&A's about Miscellaneous Seiko chime clocks and put the above instructions together but am not guaranteeing this will work. The problem will always be resetting the time when you change the batteries. I have a no return policy. Happy Setting and Chiming!

I have a table clock with the same mechanism (12104), which unfortunately stopped working. I still have the instructions, though.
Quote:
"
An automatic night-time silencer mechanism is conveniently built into your clock so that the chime-melody and hourly strike do not sound at night between 11:00 P.M. and 5:45 A.M. If you wish to silence the chime-melody and the strike completely at all times, then turn the volume control knob as far as it goes to the "min" position.
"
No instructions on how to configure it for different hours. Seems that's not possible...

If someone can tell me where I can find a working 12104 mechanism I would greatly appreciate it.

To my knowledge and I have the same clock, but the start times can't be adjusted. I am sad my clock has just stopped. Not the batteries.
