How can I get my Hotpoint BS22 Fan oven to come on?

The auto mode is stuck on and I cannot get this mode released on my Hotpoint BS22 Fan oven. Does anybody know what to press on the control panel

..came across this forum while looking for a new oven (and nearly ordering one!) and saw this! I pressed the minute minder and cook period together and then the + button to make it 12:00 and then by magic my oven started. Thank you so much :)

Press the minute minder and cook period together.Now while pressing them,push the + button.This will bring the clock to 12:00.Your oven should work now.

I only solved my "auto" crisis by attempting all the above suggestions and then pressing the "manual" button.

thanks for the advice on getting the bs22 fan oven to come on - the simultaneous pressing of buttons worked a treat - but any idea how I can reset the clock?

this works perfectly. If any of the buttons are gone just use a cocktail stick/toothpick to replace it.

If you haven't solved the problem yet, then you can try what I did for my BS22 Fan oven which worked for me.

I pressed 2 switch buttons ( minute minder and cook period) simultaneously and by keeping it pressed I pressed the '+' switch button. That solved it for me (Auto Mode disappeared).
