Mend Alarm Working Work Bell

Intruder alarm sounder not working?

The alarm sounder on our alarm system does not work when the alarm system is activated although it sounds when I go to remove the bell box cover. This proves the sounder is working but not when the house alarm is set off. Can any body help me solve this problem

How do you know it doesn't 'go off' when the alarm activates? How do you test it to come to that conclusion?

Do a bell test from the panel at the keypad.

You should be doing this test periodically anyway.
