Microwave will not work?

no it does not mate,think about it,if the oven produced rads,then you would need lead plating to shield the user ,I am a micro wave engineer,it generates electromagnetic pulses that causes the molucules in the food to vibrate at 24,5 hz this heats the food from the outside in,same as radio waves,if you hold an antenna on a cb radio when you transmit you get burned,try it

there is no radiation,but there is a capacitor that stores up to 10.000 volts,the cap has a bleed resistor fitted but we always short the cap to make sure,as ;pecavvi said the inside is no place for an amateur get a pro to look at it,or,buy a new one

Then a component of the Microwave circuitry is broken in some way. Do not attempt a home repair because very high voltages and radiation lurk inside - there's a violent shock hazard even from an unplugged microwave.

Your choice is to buy new or have a specialist repair it.
