How do I test the sounder on a G4 alarm system?

forgive me for saying this Garry, but you really shouldn't be in there if you don't know what you are doing.

Only one link maybe used at the panels sounder and strobe terminals and this is only for defeating (closing) the tamper circuit,but saying that you as a user should link out nowt.

You can test the panels triggers and all wiring using a multimeter at the panel and at the sounder.

What's actually the problem or the reason for this test,as your question seems very strange?.

you don't link up anything in the rubbish panel to test the sounder mate,you do a bell test from the keypad,i find your question very odd!
