google singer 5528 and you will find a nice site where they show you exactly how to wind bobbin and thread machine.if you cant find it read this: from right side thru top thread guide ,towards front thru another guide,down to tension unit making sure you include take up spring,little down thru guide and up and left thru take up lever,down thru guides and from front thru needle
