Can I fix the display screen on my ford 6000 CD player?

Hello everyone. Have gone to pull out the main unit on my ford 6000 rds cd Player to get the security code for it and the the main display panel has all but come off and is currently only being held by the power belt. I have tried to put the panel back on but it won't fully clip in now and I can only see the display when I apply pressure to the detachable security unit. Is this one for the dustbin or is there anything I can do to save it?
