I have old horizon that has been trouble free for many years until it came up with the number 7 at the panel yesterday.The manual is not helpful,so can anybody tell me what it is,and also how to fix if possible please.

It's been a while since I've seen one of these,I'm pretty sure that fault code relates to a sounder tamper.

So check the sounder and wiring.
