Creda simplicity 1000 200fw washing machine door wont lock?

Hello,
I have a Creda Simplicity 1000 200fw washing machine.
Every time I try to put a wash on the machines door wont register as being locked and I am unable to use the machine. I have had this issue for a while but was able to nudge the door shut and it would register as being locked, but this isn't working anymore and was wondering if there was anything i could try to get it working again ?
